The lack of air conditioning, while unusual for some, was actually a pleasant change, allowing for a more authentic experience of Berlin's moderate climate.One aspect that stood out was the breakfast room, offering a delightful view of the garden and a generous spread of options. The value for money at €44 for a night was impressive, especially considering the comfortable accommodations and free tea and coffee in the room.While some areas like the hot food selection at breakfast could have been improved, overall, Mercure strikes a good balance between cost and luxury. For those looking to explore Berlin on a budget without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid choice.
